Naturalist is a start-up from the University of Lisbon, that combines nature and cultural tours with research data collection.

The Lisbon Naturalist team offers services and tours in the Lisbon region, in some cases through selected partners that ensure the Biologist onboard and science data collection on all tours.

About Lisbon 
Lisbon is one of the oldest cities in the world, and the oldest in Western Europe. The period of the Discoveries and colonization left castles, palaces and marked the architecture of the streets of Lisbon and the surrounding area. The recent development of the country led to the modernization of the city. With sunshine and a mild climate all year round, and "planted" in front of the Tagus estuary, Lisbon is a warm and safe destination for cultural and natural tours for all!

Best time to visit Lisboa
Lisbon has a Subtropical-Mediterranean climate (Köppen climate classification: Csa), with short and very mild winters and warm summers. Between April to September temperature range from 16ºC to 35ºC. From October to March you can expect mild winters , with temperatures between 8ºC to 18ºC, and some rain. Sunshine duration is 2.806 hours per year, with an average of 11.4 hours of sunshine per day in July. Lisbon enjoys one of the most optimal number of hours of daylight in Europe!
